In a medium bowl, mix together flour, breadcrumbs, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. In a separate bowl, beat together eggs and milk. Stir milk mixture into flour mixture until smooth. Mix in drained tropical fruit cocktail and refrigerate for 10-15 minutes or until bread crumbs has fully absorbed the liquid and batter has become thick.
Heat oil to 375F in a deep fryer.
Using a medium sized ice cream scooper, scoop batter and fry. Then turn it occasionally until it’s golden brown. Drain on plate lined with paper towel. Arrange balls on a plate dusting it with powdered sugar before serving. Makes 20 balls.
