2 tbsp cornstarch, dispersed in 3 tablespoons water
5 cloves garlic, crushed
1/4 cup ground peanuts
Prepare filling by heating oil in a pan. Add onion, achuete powder, ground pork, shrimps, and fish sauce. Stir-fry for 8 minutes. Add Jolly Pieces and Stems Mushrooms, Jolly Garbanzos, Baguio beans, carrots, camote, and cabbage. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until vegetables are crisp and tender. Remove from heat and set aside.
Prepare sauce by combining water, sugar, and soy sauce in a saucepan. Bring to a boil then thicken with cornstarch mixture. Remove from heat then add garlic and peanuts.
To assemble, place lettuce leaf on every lumpia wrapper. Put 3 tablespoons of filling then roll up. Top with sauce.
