Pork Torta with Teriyaki Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 clove garlic, grated
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 2 tsp cornstarch

Procedure:

  1. To make pork torta, heat 2 tablespoons Jolly Heart Mate Canola Oil in a pan. Sauté garlic and onion until fragrant. Add ground pork, salt and pepper. Cook until pork changes color.
  2. Stir in potato, red bell pepper, Jolly Pieces and Stems Mushrooms and Jolly Whole Kernel Corn. Cook until potato is tender. Transfer meat mixture in a bowl then add eggs. Mix well.
  3. Heat remaining 4 tablespoons oil in a pan. Drop 3-4 tablespoons meat mixture and fry until golden.
  4. To make teriyaki sauce, combine all ingredients in saucepan. Simmer for 5 minutes or until sauce thickens. Serve with pork torta.
