Aloha Tuna

Ingredients:

  • 185 g Doña Elena 100% Tuna Shredded in Sunflower Oil, drained
  • 50 g button mushrooms
  • 50 g tomato catsup
  • 1/3 cup Mott’s 100% Apple Juice
  • 1/3 cup Jolly Pineapple Tidbits, drained
  • 20 g bell pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • cooking spray

Procedure:

  1. Use cooking spray to coat pan.
  2. Sauté garlic and white onion.
  3. Add shredded tuna, bell pepper, mushrooms, pineapple tidbits, tomato
  4. ketchup and Mott’s 100% apple juice.
  5. Season with salt and stir to mix well. Makes 35 pieces.

Recipe Variation:To decrease sodium content, substitute catsup with reduced-sodium tomato sauce.
