Fruity Fritter Balls

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup Good Life Bread Crumbs
  • 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup white sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 pcs eggs
  • 1 cup Jolly Cow Fresh Milk
  • Jolly Claro for deep frying
  • 1 can Jolly Tropical Fruit Cocktail, drained
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Procedure:

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together flour, breadcrumbs, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. In a separate bowl, beat together eggs and milk. Stir milk mixture into flour mixture until smooth. Mix in drained tropical fruit cocktail and refrigerate for 10-15 minutes or until bread crumbs has fully absorbed the liquid and batter has become thick.
  2. Heat oil to 375F in a deep fryer.
  3. Using a medium sized ice cream scooper, scoop batter and fry. Then turn it occasionally until it’s golden brown. Drain on plate lined with paper towel. Arrange balls on a plate dusting it with powdered sugar before serving. Makes 20 balls.
