Fruity Fritter Balls
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cup Good Life Bread Crumbs
- 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup white sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 pcs eggs
- 1 cup Jolly Cow Fresh Milk
- Jolly Claro for deep frying
- 1 can Jolly Tropical Fruit Cocktail, drained
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Procedure:
- In a medium bowl, mix together flour, breadcrumbs, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. In a separate bowl, beat together eggs and milk. Stir milk mixture into flour mixture until smooth. Mix in drained tropical fruit cocktail and refrigerate for 10-15 minutes or until bread crumbs has fully absorbed the liquid and batter has become thick.
- Heat oil to 375F in a deep fryer.
- Using a medium sized ice cream scooper, scoop batter and fry. Then turn it occasionally until it’s golden brown. Drain on plate lined with paper towel. Arrange balls on a plate dusting it with powdered sugar before serving. Makes 20 balls.
