Mapo Tofu

Mapo Tofu

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 kg tofu
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 pc large onion, chopped
  • 1/4 kg pork or chicken, ground
  • 2 tbsp Jolly Heart Mate Canola oil
  • 1/2 cup Good Life Oyster sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 can Jolly Mushrooms Pieces and Stems 400g
  • 1 can Jolly Red Pimientos, sliced

Procedure:

  1. Soak tofu in hot water for 5-8 minutes. Cut into cubes.
  2. Sauté garlic, onion, and chicken/pork in oil until fragrant.
  3. Add oyster sauce, water, and remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer for 3 minutes.
  4. Add tofu. Stir gently to blend with the meat mixture. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
