Mushroom and Chicken Bites

Ingredients:

  • 1 can Jolly Whole Mushroom 400g, sliced
  • 250 g chicken breast fillet, cut in cubes
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 stalk celery, minced
  • 1 pc egg
  • 1/2 cup cheese, grated
  • spring roll wrapper
  • Jolly Heart Mate Canola Oil, for frying
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Procedure:

  1. Sauté Chicken in Jolly Heart Mate Canola Oil until cooked.
  2. Add onions, garlic, celery and Jolly Whole Mushrooms; Season with dried basil, salt and pepper. Set the filling aside to cool.
  3. When the filings are cool, fold in egg and grated cheese.
  4. Cut the wrapper in half. Place 1 teaspoon of the filling at the edge of the wrapper. Fold over into triangles until sealed up. Repeat the process until wrapper fillings are used up.
  5. Pre-heat in Jolly Heart Mate Canola Oil to 300F. Fry the triangles until golden brown.
  6. Drain these on paper and serve warm.
