Mushroom and Chicken Bites
Ingredients:
- 1 can Jolly Whole Mushroom 400g, sliced
- 250 g chicken breast fillet, cut in cubes
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 1 small onion, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 stalk celery, minced
- 1 pc egg
- 1/2 cup cheese, grated
- spring roll wrapper
- Jolly Heart Mate Canola Oil, for frying
- salt and pepper, to taste
Procedure:
- Sauté Chicken in Jolly Heart Mate Canola Oil until cooked.
- Add onions, garlic, celery and Jolly Whole Mushrooms; Season with dried basil, salt and pepper. Set the filling aside to cool.
- When the filings are cool, fold in egg and grated cheese.
- Cut the wrapper in half. Place 1 teaspoon of the filling at the edge of the wrapper. Fold over into triangles until sealed up. Repeat the process until wrapper fillings are used up.
- Pre-heat in Jolly Heart Mate Canola Oil to 300F. Fry the triangles until golden brown.
- Drain these on paper and serve warm.
