Tokwa't Baboy with Mushrooms
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp Jolly Heart Mate Canola Oil
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 500g pork, cubed
- 1 can Jolly Whole Mushrooms 400g, drained and halved
- 6 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Good Life Oyster Sauce
- 1 cup water
- 4 tbsp vinegar
- 2 tsp sugar
- 2 small blocks tofu, cubed and deep fried
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 pcs dried bay leaves
Procedure:
- Heat oil in a cooking pot then sauté garlic until color turns light brown.
- Add pork and Jolly Mushrooms cook for 3 to 5 minutes or until the pork turns light brown.
- Pour-in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and water. Let it boil and simmer until the pork becomes tender.
- Add vinegar and wait until the liquid boils. Stir.
- Put-in sugar and fried tofu. Cook for 3 minutes.
- Add salt, pepper, and bay leaves. Stir.
- Turn off heat. Transfer to a serving bowl. Share and enjoy!
