Beef Tapa Fajitas

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 kg beef sirloin, cut into strips
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Jolly Heart Mate Canola Oil
  • 1 pc large onion, sliced
  • 2 pcs red bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 1 can Jolly Pieces and Stems Mushrooms 198g, drained
  • 1/2 cup Jolly Whole Kernel Corn, drained
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp chopped cilantro
  • 10-12 pcs small flour tortilla, heated

Procedure:

  1. Marinate beef in garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, salt and black pepper mixture for 3 hours.
  2. Heat Jolly Heart Mate Canola Oil in a pan. Pan-fry beef in batches. Set aside.
  3. In the same pan, stir fry onion, bell pepper, Jolly Pieces and Stems Mushrooms and Jolly Whole Kernel Corn for 5 minutes. Return beef to pan then stir in chili powder, cumin and Worcestershire sauce. Stir fry for another 2 minutes. Season with salt.
  4. Turn off the heat and stir in lemon juice and sprinkle with cilantro. Serve with tortillas.
