Cream Dory with Chili Sauce

Cream Dory with Chili Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp Doña Elena Pure Olive Oil
  • 2 pcs cream dory fillet
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Chili Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp Doña Elena Pure Olive Oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pc medium red onion, diced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, minced
  • 2 pcs red chili
  • 1 tbsp bagoong guisado
  • 1 tbsp Jolly Tomato Paste
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tsp Good Life Oyster Sauce
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 pc medium egg, beaten
  • 2 tbsp cilantro, chopped

Procedure:

  1. Heat Doña Elena Pure Olive Oil in non-stick pan over medium heat. Season cream dory with salt and pepper. Pan-fry until cooked through. Transfer to a serving dish and set aside.
  2. Heat Doña Elena Pure Olive Oil in another pan. Sauté garlic, onion, ginger and red chili until fragrant. Stir in bagoong guisado and Jolly Tomato Paste until just heated through.
  3. Add tomato sauce, water, Good Life Oyster Sauce and sugar. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Bring to simmer and slowly add beaten egg to the mixture. Stir lightly until egg is cooked.
  4. Pour sauce over cream dory and serve immediately.
