Mapo Tofu
Ingredients:
- 1/4 kg tofu
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 pc large onion, chopped
- 1/4 kg pork or chicken, ground
- 2 tbsp Jolly Heart Mate Canola oil
- 1/2 cup Good Life Oyster sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 can Jolly Mushrooms Pieces and Stems 400g
- 1 can Jolly Red Pimientos, sliced
Procedure:
- Soak tofu in hot water for 5-8 minutes. Cut into cubes.
- Sauté garlic, onion, and chicken/pork in oil until fragrant.
- Add oyster sauce, water, and remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer for 3 minutes.
- Add tofu. Stir gently to blend with the meat mixture. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
